Colorado Roads App Reviews

cotrip app

The last time I visited cotrip.org from my iPad, which was just a few weeks ago, the mobile version worked like it always has done - simple effective navigation to map, cameras, road conditions, travel times. Today, I get a big black screen with tiny icons on the edges and a "welcome to our new interface" announcement. Except the new interface doesnt work, so I have to get the app, and and watch advertisements?! So wrong for so many reasons!

Awful!

Crashes frequently. Non intuitive. Ill stick to waze or google maps.

Not real time information

The app does not update frequently enough to provide real time information as it claims. The refresh function rarely works also. Maps app is more accurate.

Broken

Doesnt work, none of the buttons do anything, app hasnt been updated since 2013, presumed broken, tested on iOS 9 with iPhone 6

GMP53

App wont work at all on my iPad Air 2. No map no locations, only I-70 traffic conditions.

Does not work

Pressing icons on the screen does nothing.

Not much help

The app would potentially be very useful but the information on the app isnt updated enough to make it useful.

Good idea... Extremely poor execution

This app would be great for checking traffic and delays and any of the codes that are going to be enforced this winter... Except this app doesnt work. Period. Almost none of the buttons work to navigate to any menus. I want to be able to check road conditions and see if the codes are active but this app is just awful. Desperately needs an update.

Not functional

Downloaded the app, and not two minutes later I was deleting it. Not a single button works.. Its just a home with screen with literally no abilities. So I downloaded the CO Traffic Cameras app.

Useless!

Have tried this app 2-3 times in hopes that it has been improved. Not!

Hey CDOT, ROAD CLOSED

"Avalanche reduction work" Just say "the road will be closed for 14 hours (you need to go another way)" Also, "adequate tires required on Vail Pass" is more important than "Berthod Pass Closed" Get your priorities straight! Worthless app.

Serious issues

Buttons dont work. Text overlays dont always line up. Cant find the information that I need.

Worthless

Installed and app is non functional, the only thing that seemed to work where the carousels on the top and bottom. Clicking on Menu didnt do a thing, neither clicking on location or map.

This app used to be valuable for CO drivers

This app used to be valuable for CO drivers. Now its unusable. The map doesnt have a key! The map used to color code the roads based on the current conditions. It was really helpful for travelers going between Grand Junction to Denver on I70. Now its worthless!

Crashes

Installed - crashed on launch. Restarted - app crashed on launch. Deleted, reinstalled, restarted - crashed on launch. Cant review what doesnt work.

Not reliable doesnt work

A highway and road condition app should be reliable. This CDOT app is not.

As I sit in traffic...

Skip this app. There are more accurate ways to see traffic. We used to use this app quite a bit to figure out the best time to leave to/from summit county and so often we hit "predictable" CDOT traffic. They cant even warn drivers about traffic they cause, like closing all of I70 for planned construction... Deleting, not worth the memory.

Horrible

This is a horrible ap. I couldnt give it zero stars. Traffic conditions arent up to date. The front page with a summary of 70 lags so far behind actual traffic it is useless. Just use google maps.

NEEDS AN UPDATE ASAP

When are you guys going to finally update this piece of junk??????? Would give this 0 stars if I could.

Worthless

I dont need I70 or I25 info and the app wont let you look at any other hwy info so its completely worthless.
